I'll be there 10:55 that day. Anyone who wants to join an opening party, what the heck. Let's get them off to a good start.

Unfortunately I'll be at work...but I'll be at the pub in spirit.

First o'the month is never good for me. I gotta get bills out, but if they deliver I'm all over it.

Other than getting gouged for a bloody Mary while watching Zulu, I cannot understand any affinity for that bar. Please elaborate.

I went to J'anita's today for their last horrah. They opened for a Pirate breakfast buffet at 10 and by 10.30 the place was packed. I'll miss my breakfasts there.

So will I. OTOH, we get to tour.

I am sure it has been functions of the drunkenness of the situation rather than anything the bar provided more than another would. More just chance that we ended up there (one time in particular after the most recent Kiss show at the Arena where we were all red-faced from being too close to the pyrotechnics).

And Avenue was one of the few bars on St Charles open in those few weeks after Katrina - especially when I needed a morning cocktail.
