Oyster article and slideshow

One of the consolations of living in Houston is the writing of local food critic, Robb Walsh. Here's an interesting article on Oysters, the subject of his recent book, and a slide show that is basically Oyster porn.

I believe both are worth some time for anyone passionate about oysters.

This one may be very enjoyable too. Oysters are always a hot topic.

ROB WALSH SIGNS NEW OYSTER BOOK: Award-winnig author Rob Walsh will sign his new "Sex, Death, and Oysters" book on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the store at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum, Riverwalk Marketplace, Julia Street Entrance. Admission is not required.

Well, shoot... just one more reason (as if there weren't enough already) that living in New Orleans is so much better than living in Houston. My understanding is that Robb won't be doing any signings here in order to protect his anonymity.
