After spending the night as a local tourist at the Bourbon Orleans, Saturday dinner @ K-Pauls. On the way home Sunday about 11, wanted a muffaleta, stopped by DiMartino's in Algiers. Brought 2 home for Saints game. Really good Muff. But should have hung out in the Quarter a little longer. At least until the game was over.

Later in the evening cooked a pot of red beans, & made up vegetable soup in the crock pot which I turned on before leaving for work today. Shouldn't have to cook much this week.

Had to be "downtown" (Reno) at 5:00 and 8:00 pm. In between we went to Red Lobster as we got a $10.00 coupon in the mail. (Audience winces. )

Wife had Stuffed Flounder. I had Endless Shrimp, in the following order - Cajun Broiled Shrimp, Garlic Prawns, Breaded Fried Shrimp, Popcorn Coconut Shrimp with Piña Colada Sauce (best of the 5), Broiled Teriyaki Shrimp, Popcorn Coconut Shrimp with Piña Colada Sauce. I could gave gone for at least two more repeats, but I was getting "that look" from my SO.

Picture shows first two items.

Sunday: Grilled Kebalsa, grilled chicken.
Monday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, buttered corn.
Tuesday: May cook if flooding goes down, since probably won't be back at work yet. If not, Rump Roast in Crock Pot. If still flooded at work...thinking Gumbo, although real problem getting oysters, shrimp and crab. Lafitte was slammed! Oyster beds slammed! All shut down for probably at least two weeks.

Man...I'm ready for some oysters...

ps: Art...I just winced for you!

For me it's been a large pizza from Cafe Roma which I've had for dinner three nights. Boring but easy and they make pretty good pizza.
