If that is true, PNG, why in the world would a city the size of New Orleans have so many people so passionate about food and be recognized by most rational thinking people as a "food city?" Moreover, why would anyone who believes what you stated bother to frequent the numerous food forums of a "food city wannabe?"

Latkes, when made well, are very tasty with a little salt and pepper. Sour cream (me) or apple sauce (my wife) do go well with them as well.
