As I read her rant about Nachos, I was amazed to see her using the same terminology (if you want to call it that) as I did in our discussion: lazy, pile of chips, stuff poured on top, processed cheese whiz, nacho cheese type references...you get the picture.
In the second paragraph she recounts the same basic story as another food writer I read recently: namely Nachos were invented by someone in Piedras Negras...and I had to laugh again, for several reasons.
But the third paragraph got even better. In fact I think she may have opened herself to libel charges by claiming a particular Texan, a native of San Antonio no less, invented Ball Park Nachos., (All thinking Mex lovers know only a Californian could, or would, come up with something as lame as those testaments to laziness.)
She has some good recipes, also: Houston Creamy Green Salsa, a good Taco recipe, etc., Its easy to see why her site is so popular. I am not on her level when it comes to taking photos, nor do I have an interest in the popular style of food writing, but I am inspired by her efforts, nonetheless.
Give it look, I think you'll enjoy her site.

Oh, she has a very interesting lard-free flour totilla recipe she raves about, also. I'm going to give that one a try in the near future.
