Oyster or JRO, have either of you gotten one from the Honey Dip?/Whip? place by Harry's Ace?
Roux, I have not tried the place near Harry's, & I have still not tried the new place where Chip's was before. The Kitchen

I have tried Honey Whipped, but not for King Cake.
I'll refrain from saying anything at this point as it was just one visit.

Where was Chip's and/or where is The Kitchen?
I have friends in that neighborhood.

In the same strip mall as the donut place.

Ah, got it! On the left! So The Kitchen is good?

My last visit to Honey Whip was not so great.
A very skimpy piece of meatloaf, small spoon of green beans.
Not there usual at all.

Oddly enough, I have been to Honey Whip once fairly recently even though I go 5, 7? years without going to the Westbank (not sure why)

That said, for a carbohydrate overload, one of the best donuts (that's it, didn't try the lunch/hot food) I ever had and very friendly service.

They have excellent donuts.
I don't even like donuts & will eat one of theirs.

I prolly just hit them on an off day. I hope so!
