You can get great deals towards the end of the day! Been wanting to hit the Holly Grove Market since they stay open til 2pm on Saturdays... how is that one?

Tasted some my husband brought home. Nice and crisp. Just don't over it, my husband had a whopper hangover the next day after having "a few." Mind you the bottle is huge.:toast:

Drove by Vince's Seafood on Lafayette in Gretna and they had a sign out for $2.89/# for live ones.

Tough to choose so I went with traditional. I love frozen baby limas (cooked with bacon and onions) and frozen black eyed peas (cooked with smoked turkey necks and mustard greens) too.

Then I shall mention Chef Besh, as my most memorable and delicious meal was at August several months ago.
Unfortunately, my pitiful salary does not afford me the opportunity to dine out as frequently as Bam and JAG, but fortunately, I am a very good cook!
