Great sandwich

I finally caved in and went to eat the chicken parmesan at Sam's food store today. It is off of Jefferson Hwy near the turn toward Claiborne ...on Brooklyn.
First of all they have the good bread. ...the kind you can just put mayo on and make a meal out of it.

The chicken parmesan sandwich was fantastic. Breaded chicken breast w/ mozzarella cheese and red gravy. The gravy had chunks of meatballs in it! I had mine dressed...it was delicious.

If you haven't been there, check it out. Don't expect much ambience but do expect everyone to know you just came from lunch when you get back.

I hear they do a great breakfast, too. And it's cheap! My sandwich was only $5.50!

Apparently Irma Thomas is a regular there.
