OMG that was amazing. They shattered the World Record and beat the smug French team who said they were going to crush us. Those 4 boys are so excited! It was amazing to watch. Geaux Team USA!!!
Think about it...the team who came in 5th, even they came in under the previous record. That's how fast this race was. I hope some of you are watching because this is simply amazing. Can you tell I'm excited!

It would have been politically correct to skip the whole "winners" and "losers" thing and give everyone a gold medal for trying really hard.
Also, Phelps should be desqualified from all future races because wanting more than just one medal is mean and greedy. Don't you think the other swimmers would like a medal?

That is the best swimming realy race I have ever seen.
Wow! What a final leg.
As a former swimmer, I really enjoy watching such efforts.
The training that these athletes must do is intense, to say the least.
No one will deny Phelps what is his. He will win out in all remaining events.
