Lilette

Post by jodyrah »

My husband and I dined at Lillete and made our own tasting menu. Simply outstanding food with unobtrusive, efficient service. We shared:

white truffle parmigiano toast with wild mushrooms, marrow and veal glace (could have eaten an entire meal of this)

potato gnocchi with sage brown butter and parmigiano cream

eggplant crisps with Skordalia, oven dried roma tomatoes, basil, and oil cured olives

Braised veal cheeks with baby greens and
horseradish vinaigrette

White bean soup with crispy duck confit, croutons

Fried Kurobuta pork belly with a salad of melon, sweet onion, cucumber, peashoots and herbs -

Nutella custard with fleur de sel, caramel cream and chocolate-hazelnut brittle

I had coffee and the dessert, husband had a glass of port. We had a bottle of prosecco with the meal. Check: $150 pre tip. We are looking forward to a repeat "tasting menu" with a different array of dishes (plus 2 orders of parm. toast).

All-in-all, Lilette is my favorite fine dining spot in town. Considering atmosphere, ease of access, parking, style and variety, wines, service, etc., I like it!
