Does anyone else want this week to end?

My civic pride is at an all time high and while I cannot wait for the Super Bowl, I don't want this week to end. I can't believe what a football game has done for this city. A sleeping giant has reawakened.

Btw, do you think the Saints would ever not play
a game because Commander's is doing a special brunch? God, Fatzo looks like more of a smacked ass everyday.

Very tough week to get much work accomplished. Today is my last day of work for the week. At least Fri & Sat I can drink beer all day to calm myself down.

It's been an actual "stimulus package" for stores like ours.
Sales have been like the week or two before Christmas...even for non Saints merchandise.

I'm down here in Coconut Grove awaiting the rest of th crew to arrive. I took the 6am flight and thought I buy the supplies for the week and take a nap but I am too excited!

Just popped my first Corona with lime (which I bought from some old guy in the parking lot selling produce from his mini-van. Can't wait to cut up the papaya and garnish a nice rum drink with it!)

The weather is great and the locals are looking a bit bewildered as the Who Dat nation starts pouring in.

I have been so happy, proud and excited I can hardly stand it. I can't wait for Sunday to be here, but at the same time I am enjoying the build up. This is going to transition right into the SB parade Tuesday then into Mardi Gras weekend. Wowee this is quite a fun ride!!

I'm so damn proud of them for just getting to the Super Bowl that I will be proud even if they don't win. But I just have this feeling, I don't know why, but I just feel like my Daddy is finally going to get his wish up in heaven.
