Resolution Schmesolution!

I normally don't make a NY resolution but it seems like I did this year: To lose 10 pounds by March 1.
Considering that I am training for the Mardi Gras Marathon which is on February 28th, you'd think that would be an easy task.
HA!
Having a January birthday has always extended the Holidays by a week or two but couple that with an amazing Saints season and I'm totally screwed.
In the month of January I have eaten at Galatoire's, Rocky and Carlos, Ruth's Chris, Domenica, Pelican Club, Tommy's, Amerigo's(Jackson), and LaBoca.
Most fun: Galatoire's and Rocky & Carlo's-because we were a large group both times.
Best Surprise: Pelican Club-hadn't been in a while but absolutely loved it.
Going back soon: Domenica-SO many amazing things on the menu that we just couldn't get to.
Best overall: LaBoca. I just love this place and it seemed this last time was better than ever.
I should add that I'll be at RioMar Thursday w/ our favorite forum couple. …damn, now we'll have to look out for the paparazzi!

My facebook status last night as "Most people gain weight during the holidays...me, the post-season!" I feel ya Roux...it's been tough. You'd think teaching at a gym (and running 30+ miles a week for you) this would be easy for us...not so much! But I wouldn't trade it for anything.

See you at Rio Mar I already informed Adolfo and Nick that cameras aren't allowed since we'll be there.
