I was in attendance. It was cold til OT. Tiger Stadium was electric! My 9 year old nephew loved it. I'm so glad I got to take him to a game there. Now he's talking smack about his Tom Brady on Monday night. I think he'll burst with excitement on the way to the Dome.
“I'm sure when Peyton Manning was growing up he always wanted to throw the TD pass that gave the Saints a Super Bowl win," Jorge Arangure wrote. "Now he has."
I did not attend, as my foot is still bothering me. However, I am very pleased with the win. I am very displeased with the Tiger (so called) fans that think we need to fire our damn strong football coach. It amazes me that there are so0-called LSU fans out there that want to fire him. Beyond ignorance. Go, Les! Go, Tigers!
What surprises me is hearing the announcers say how empty the stands were. That is very unusual. One of them said maybe they went to the bathroom at 3rd quarter.....the other said must be some long lines, that was pretty funny.
According to my kids, who have a great view of all parts of the stadium except the east upper (we sit in the Tiger Terrace, the first row of the east upper, and you can't see above you form those seats). they said there were some empty seats, but that the stadium stayed mostly full and the tv announcers were exaggerating.
