Oysters right now

Post by RouxTheDay »

Where are you eating them?
I want cold draught beer, too.

I was thinking Cooter Browns but am afraid they still allow smoking...can anyone verify that?

Bozo's on 21st Street just off Causeway and Vets. If you wanna go let me know. I'm off for the next week. I'm buying. (They're closed Sunday and Monday.)

We've been going to Luke for happy hour. It's every day from 3-6. 25 cent P&J oysters and 1/2 price drinks. You can't beat it and the oysters have been phenomenal. The service is nothing to write home about though...but I suffer through for the cheap ersters.

---------- Post added at 04:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:05 PM ----------

I've been to the Red Maple a couple of times for their special...including last THursday. They are good...small...but good.

I've also been to a place in Harahan that has quarter oysters on Tuesday and THursday and they were really good. But I can't remember the name of the place. Dockside...I think.

I've always wanted to hit the Friday special at Le Bon Temps. Is it crazy crowded or can you actually get a couple of dozen?
