Bam Bam
i recently quit cigs. on the weekends i like watching football outside. in the past i would do so while chain smoking and drinking. in an effort not to relapse, i am looking for a mild cigar recommendation. i am near a cigar shop so i should be able to located most brands/styles. hoping to stay around the $10< mark. thanks.

Good time of year to start smoking cigars. Cigars are like any premium hedonistic product. The fun is smoking alot of different things and figuring out what you like. I have never smoked a cigarette in it life, so I am not sure what you are looking for in the transition. I generally prefer a shorter, fatter cigar. But if you are chain smoking, a longer thinner cigar might be what you want. Anyway the two brands I would start with are Rocky Patel and CAO. If you settle on a longer thinner cigar, Burkhas are good for that style.
