Sunday Seafood in Met/Hara/Ken

Post by sbu22 »

You guys did so well on the oyster recs last week, I'm back with another request. What's a really good seafood restaurant that's in the Metairie, Harahan, Kenner area that is also open on Sunday? Appreciate the help, as always.

If by "really good" you mean casual, pretty good neighborhood seafood restaurant, the Harbor is open Sundays on Williams, as is their sister seafood market (Fisherman's Cove).

Harbor Seafood would be my first choice in that area.

check to see if Brigtsen has reopened Charlie's in Harahan yet.
my go to for seafood in Met. are The Galley on Met.Rd. and RiverPond Seafood on Airline (though I cannot confirm a Sunday opening, I did take out from RiverPond on a Sunday).
in a pinch, I'd also got to Rivershack on River Rd & Shrewsbury for their seafood platter and buffalo oysters. their beer selection ain't bad either.
After Mon & Tues, even the calendar says W-T-F!

No Galley on Sundays.

Yeah - I meant casual pretty good seafood. That's why you guys are great - I must drive past Harbor 2 or 3 times a week and never think of it. Edible - I'll check on your recs for Sunday open. Thanks again!
