Green Goddess

Post by Jeeves »

The Furys, Mrs. Fury and her hubby, THE CONTROLLER, went to Chef Chris DeBarr's Green Goddess tonight. I could have joined them, but I stupidly chose to remain home tonight and suck a gallon of frozen margaritas through a straw instead. Here's a link to Mrs. Fury's pictures taken tonight at Green Goddess http://picasaweb.google.com/girlygirl2969/GreenGoddess#

They went before the six month rule and found the place excellent! So much for ancient "restrictions".

We had lunch ther Sat. I really wanted to love this place. We found the food creative and fun, but not so sure I'll be returning anytime soon. Nothing bad, just nothing exceptional. We had the crabmeat/cheese on ciabatta, lentil pancake w/tamarind sauce, shrimp and grit cake, crawfish cakes and the black rice pudding w/mango sauce.

The food and the pictures are most impressive. Based upon your visit, the Green Goddess goes on my to-do list. :toast:
