Blue Bell Popsicles

Post by Gourmondo »

I was struck down very early Friday morning with a most vicious gastroenteritis that had my GI doing the contraflow for about 36 hours and popsicles were the only thing I could keep down. Amazing how mundane comforts seem gargantuan when the tables are turned on you. I made it from clear liquids x 24 hours to the pureed diet today (grits) and am finally getting some strength back. I couldn't resist putting a couple of drops of Tabasco in the chicken broth, however, and have lived to tell the tale.

The only good thing was the experience of some rather psychedelic dreams as I passed 103 degrees whilst in my febrile delirium...flying in the air was never so fun, I felt like I must have been preparing to go over to the other side. No bright lights, but it was all pretty easy, no worries. Not quite ready for that just yet. I will be heavily repenting for the next 40-odd days, however.

So, you dug the pops?

orange is my fave.

I think, for the most part, Blue Belle has quality products.

Not the popsicles, but I am totally addicted to the Moo Bars. Require a daily fix. Have three reserve boxes in the freezer right now.
