I decided to give them another try today. I walked in for lunch to find - lo and behold - none other than Ms. Gourmondo and friends, who have assigned themselves the goal of 99 new restaurants this year. Three people had breakfast items - eggs, sausage, pancakes. The pancakes were good. Diner #4 had the eggplant parmagian (sp.) that was the special. He thought it was pretty decent - it was a big portion too. He and I had French onion soup which everyone at the table tasted. We all thought it was really tasty. Soups have been a consistent winner for me so far in 3-4 visits and that's actually what I was most interested in today. However, I was pleasantly suprised with the burger. It was a real meal, seemed like 1/2 pound, perfectly grilled medium and sort of a large kaiser roll bun that held up well. I would go back for the burger alone. They are open for breakfast at 7 AM, too.
