Hornets game Dining Recs?

Post by Jesse »

My dad, brother and I are going to the Hornets/Lakers game Tuesday night and we're looking for somewhere to eat either before or after. We don't want to do Cochon because we've eaten there recently, and Rio Mar & LaBoca are open 6-10 so they're definitley out before the game. You think we could get there after the game or would we be the obnoxious table? What are somee good options before? Any suggestions either way?

Thanks in advance!

I read somewhere recently that Cafe Adelaide has a pre Hornets game special where they serve two courses and a cocktail for $25.

If you need something casual and fun, I like Lucy's for pre-game.

I haven't been to a Hornets Game in quite a while, so this may be a dumb question, but will I be able to get to Rio Mar (which is all of our first choice) before they close with the 7pm tipoff?

We left the game w/ 5 minutes left to play and had no problem. We were parked in the garage and got out right away then found an easy (but illegal) spot on Julia close to Rio Mar....that was on a Saturday-I have no idea if it would be any different on a weekday.

P.S. If they have the shrimp entree get it! (like bbq'd shrimp...amazing)
