Apparently, josemama's original intent was to invite guesses as to what restaurant TF was referring, which was overlooked in favor of the old "what constitutes a chain" debate. The answer to the original question would be Drago's Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

You are comparing McDonald's, BK and Rally's to Emerils and Commanders??WTH?

So, I guess each Emeril and Commander's location forgoes local ingredients and indigenous products and personal input by their sous chefs (much less EC's) and has an 18 wheeler back up to the loading dock every other day to unload their menu items to be cooked up to their customer's expectations.

Does that mean you are just as willing to dine at an Outback, or a Chili's or a BK, as opposed to or any of the aforementioned fine dining restuarants, depending on what mood strikes you.

Huh?

Just because the headquarters may be consolidated to streamline and organize operations doesn't mean that the menu and the uniqueness has to suffer because operations are under one roof.

While I am not what you would consider a regular at any of those restaurants, your response makes it obvious that you post just to see your name.
Not comparing the food. Just pointing out that they are chain rstaurants. I did not put any positive or negative connotation in that. They are simply chain restaurants. They have more than one location governed by the same company. Trucks do pull up to these restaurants to unload food and supplies. Emeril's food is mediocre for the most part as is Commander's and many other high profile restaurants.

Dang right! I just saw on a note on a calendar that is hanging on our refrigerator that cheese is the biggest source of artery clogging components of any food consumed in the USA. Oh well............................................ They did not mention fried cheese curds, so we will have some at the fair.
