Group: I hate to tell ya'll this, apparently, despite the signs, the place you are describing is not actually Daniel's on the Bayou any more despite the sign. This is what they posted on their Facebook page on January 11, 2010.

If it's good, I'll try it but it's apparently not Daniel Tobar any more.
They posted the same thing on Facebook on the 12th, the 16th, the 26th and the 30th of January.

Daniel Tabor left in eartly January and Rene Picou, the bar owner and landlord. has hired a new chef who worked at Carmello's to assume the existing menu with a few changes for now. The restaurant's name will drop "Daniel's" from its moniker.
