Quarter View

Post by kcdixiecat »

I've noticed this place for the last year or so. There is lit up marquee like sign out in front...but I've never seen a car in the parking lot. What's the deal? It's the Quarter View and it's right on Clearview.

Ate there a few times several years ago. Seemed like a large portion, low quality kind of place.

At the time someone told me they always had a very big problem with employee turnover due to the owner being a jerk.

kc, when that place first opened, it was jammed. It's a pretty place... nicely decorated.... but it's LOUD, for some reason.

During the spring they have a night where they have all you can eat boiled crawfish for a low price... pretty good too.

We used to go there a lot, just because it's so close, but got kind of burned out. I haven't been back since the storm, but coincidentally, I'm meeting friends there for lunch on Saturday... at 2:30. That's when they open on Saturday. Weird time, but oh well.

High ceilings and nothing but hard, reflective surfaces floor-to-ceiling. Even when not jammed, normal conversation reverberates. Although much smaller a space, Mona's on Banks used to be the same way, but not since they carpeted and added fabrics to the decor.
