Speaking of kitchen upgrades, does anyone know where I can find (locally) recycled glass countertops?

I just saw some and they are quite lovely. There's some tumbled/ recycled quartz out there that looks great too.

Oh just on one of those HGTV shows or something. They're really pretty and I like the idea that you are recycling something. I recently read that granite counter tops can give off radon. I think here are some composite quartz ones (or something like that) that are less expensive and look pretty nice.
Anybody have stainless counters? My prep table has little rust spots.
BTW, my fiance and friend who is a contractor are telling me to gut the cabinets and get new ones. So much for a cheap fix.
