Saints Talk

Post by BTG »

What is the hell is going on with the Saints and the injury bug.
I was in a small health food store having lunch today and Mike Karney came in. He had what looked like an air cast on is lower leg and was using a crutch. He talked to the employees for a while and said it was nothing serious.
Someone asked about Duece not playing. Mike shook his head and said he was pissed off about it and didn't need to say any more.

Now I see Shockey is out for 4-6 weeks. I think that makes 5 or 6 starters that are out right now.

I don't know. the whole situation is discouraging. It is good to see McKenzie back though. Hope he stays healthy.

The Saints were just magnificent on Sunday!

Great game. Our sportscasters kept talking up S.F. but it didn't matter. The Saints played better and more enjoyably. Reno for the Saints.

The crowd went nuts when Deuce was suited up and came out with the starters yesterday. There wasn't a section in all of the dome yesterday that didn't have at least one Deuce sign. It was awesome.

And I even had a date for the game. Geaux Justagirl! :whip:

Were you with that guy with that big chin walking around on the sidelines? :)

Hope you had fun!

Just wait until Sunday night! Minnesota usually has our number but the Dome is always electrifying during a night game!

I enjoyed this weeks performance as well. The Dome was going crazy when Duece carried the pile for an additional three yards. It was great. The two interceptions in the endzone were exciting as well. My was wife lucky enough to get some Tickets to the Impastato's Suite, so that made it all the more enjoyable. I was expecting to see Tom in there, but then I remembered that he hates the Saints and Dome food - lol.

Speaking of Dome food, has anybody tried the Rock 'n' Sake sushi? Or even seen where it's sold. I've seen the ads during the last two games but haven't gone looking around to see where it is.

I was watching tivo and WDSU was supposed to be doing a story about eating healthy in the dome. Don't know when the story was supposed to air.

Also, seat mates came back with Ground Pati hamburgers last game. First time I saw that. They looked pretty good!
