Drank any Palin Syrah lately?

Post by justagirl »

No, it's not from Alaska, but from Chile. Apparently the organic wine had Californians (and others) turning up their nose.

I'd buy a case just out of principle.

LOL, I hadn't heard about this. Is it newly named or something?

I think Californians turn their nose up at ANY wine that isn't from CA. Can't say that I blame them though.. that's a major industry for them.

I try to eat only LA rice, strawberries, tomatoes, etc.

From what I heard on the radio, it's the name of a Winery in Chile. It's not pronounced the same as the Alaskan Govenor's name but since it's spelled the same it's caused a stir. I also heard it's selling great in Texas. That made me chuckle.
