Glen Campbell
He's releasing a new album after a very long hiatus, covering U2, Tom Petty, and others.
IMHO, he's a very underrated artist and guitarist.
Go Glen!

A Top 10 Hit in 1968, written and performed by Mason Williams, who, coincidentally, was head writer on the Smothers Brothers show.Mac da Knife wrote:Maybe this?

Sorry, Mac-
The first thing that comes to mind is when Pat Boone became "cool" with a new rock and roll album.

Re: Glen Campbell
I dunno if I'd describe Glen Campbell as an "underrated" guitarist. Competent, good, but he certainly doesn't belong in the upper ranks of the Guitar Pantheon.
Have you not experienced the magic that is Esteban?!

Yeah, maybe a little too magical. Seriously, if you are fan of fingerstyle playing, Andy McKee has insane skills.

Re: Glen Campbell
Andy McKee is unbelievable, no question.
Glen Campbell is not even in the same galaxy as him, but as a kid, I loved his music.
I'm glad to see him cleaning up his act and releasing a new album.
I wish I had half the talent he still has.
Not to mention he was nailing Tanya Tucker.
