MiLA.
The night I went it was a tossup between MiLA and some other, rather popular place. I convinced the group to go to MilA after hearing how it was struggling with business. Glad I threw them a bone. It was truly top-notch in all respects.
Hopefully, there will be a groundswell of support for this spot. There were only two other tables dining when we were there. I'd hate for this unique and special place to die on the vine for lack of business.

The Crooked Spoon in Grand Marais, Minnesota. There are several little restaurants there that have good food.

How's this for pathetic....the year is almost eight months old and try as I might, I cannot single out even one meal as being outstanding, or even memorable for that matter. Damn, I hate Texas.

In New York in January. At Bar Boulud. I had:
dégustation
de charcuterie- tasting plate of various charcuterie items. Great.
confit de canard- served with beans and veggies. Doesn't sound like it but one of the best dishes I've ever had.
French Boudin Blanc. Excellent.
A great meal.

I've got to think back a little, for restaurant meals.
But my Crash Potato/Fried Tomato meal, last week, was certainly up there.
