My husband stuffs his own olives, anchovies and blue cheese etc.
I think it is absurd for any democrat/liberal to have a problem with blaming the president. They have been blaming Bush for 10 years now, with no ened in sight. Geeze, paz, come on. And, I don't hate thre president personally, I just hate EVERYTHING he stands for. Support him is you wanna, but his vision for America and mine are as far apart as you can get.bam bam wrote:Kinda like the way you and your ilk blamed Bush for everything. It is pretty clear that Obama flush with BP's campaign cash took a hands off approach the containment of the oil spill and never activated the plan put in place to mitigate the disaster. But other than that, he's done a bang up job.
Good tip, thanks. I've tried the ones at WF a while back & had no complaints.flyinbayou wrote:I bought a jar 13oz jar of the World Market brand olives stuffed with blue cheese marinated in garlic and peppers. The cheese is like a little brick (looks more like tofu than cheese) and the olives just don't taste right.
I won't be buying them again.
I called Zydeco tonight because I really wanted an oyster poboy.flyinbayou wrote:We ate at Acme last night. Not a fan of the place at all and I could pick apart the dinner. Not the point here.
While it was initially slow it picked up after 8pm with most tables getting charbroiled. It didn't seem a lot of people were worried about the spill.
Did I mention I wasn't a fan of the place?
He just eats them out of the jar!Isabella Maja wrote:Laura, how does Mike use the anchovy stuffed olives?
I have more than a few cans & want some new ideas.
I've used them in a putanesca style sauce & a paella sort of dish.
As far as oysters go, May is definitely the time when you see specials disappear.
