Our triathlon got cancelled just as we started the swim this morning so we took advantage of being on the Northshore and tried the Hungry Forager.
Despite the -5- kids under the age of 4 screaming the whole time, it was wonderful.
Once we ordered they brought out the most amazing hot, fresh blueberry muffin with something lemony to spread on it-but I didn't.
We were 3 people and shared:
-shrimp and grits, pretty straightforward but very tasty.
-asparagus and proscuitto with poached eggs and hollandaise-really good but I wouldn't order it again.
-smoked salmon omelet or frittata? probably my favorite of the 3.
Neat place...I'd make the drive to go again and hopefully would have someone else do the driving so that I can enjoy a mimosa or bloody mary.

Brunch is fine - but where the chef really shines is at dinner. It is most definitely worth the trip.

Cancelled because.....oil in the water?

As John Wayne once said: "Life's tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid."

I'd be steamed if 5 toddlers were screaming while I was trying to eat. If you can't keep those MFn kids quiet, don't bring them into a restaurant. And turn off the phone or take it outside while you are at it. Noise is a form of pollution, too.

Oops...cancelled as we started the bike leg due to lightning.
The swim was in a lake in Grande Hills Estates in Bush.
