LOL! Thanks, Art. We'll be going back to that area. There are a few old townsites we want to check out. Logtown, Napoleon, Gainesville, all in the NASA Buffer Zone.Schuarta wrote:I nominate you for the National Geographic Magazine of Louisiana!

Jeeves,
Did you go to the end of Indian Village Rd.?
Was the Catfish restaurant still there?
....I used to get my catfish for my restaurant (Shakers in OLd Mandeville, 1993-95) there.

We were all over back there, Jerry. Didn't see Indian Village Catfish and Nanette had asked about it, too, so I got in touch with Bingoman (He used to cook there, etc.) and he said the place was washed away by Katrina. He lost a bunch of his artwork that was displayed in the place.Jerry wrote:Jeeves,

It was an interesting ride, gorgeous scenery especially along the East Pearl River. We'll be going back.

I gotta bring my dad a weed that turned into a willow tree. It surely will not live in the pot where it lives now. MS trip soon.
