Laurel Street Bakery
Not a fan of the food, the clientele or the people who work there. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Re: Laurel Street Bakery
I have been disappointed with pastries and food there. I got a macaroon there that was so hard it nearly broke my tooth. I thought the people that worked there were nice enough. Not a place I go to anymore after a couple of failed visits.

A couple of years ago I was leaving the bookstore around the corner and stopped and got a lemon bar. It was really good. That's my only visit.

Re: Laurel Street Bakery
I wanted to like this place, but on multiple visits, I found baked goods inferior in taste & appearance to those I make at home. So I quit going there. If I'm gonna pay bakery prices for boring things like chocolate chip & oatmeal cookies, they'd better be damn good.
