Top of the Hops Beer Festival

Saturday @ Fountainbleau State Park in Mandeville. Great event. They give you a 4 ounce cup that gets half filled as many times as you like, with a great variety of beers. 44 different breweries each offering anywhere fom 2-6 beers each. After about 30 2 ounce glaases finally start to feel the effect. The next 30 glassses really got me feeling good. Avoided the bad weather too. Hit the jackpot by having friends that live in old Mandeville maybe 2 mles from the event. I got him a ticket & his wife drove us, spent the night on North Shore to avoid driving. Nice event, hope they do it again. Very similar to the event WYES puts on every year

I did not go, as I was out of town. My two older sons went with a group of friends (they took a limo, to avoid driving). They said it was a great event. IT is being staged in other areas of the country. good idea.
