I purchased a Kamenstein Grinder which is 7 inches high, works well, and has a salt shaker built into the top. I found it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond (they mail us 20% off coupons each month). The extra bonus is that the mfg. provides free refills for 5 years!

Disregard all my previous statements about the Kamenstein Grinder bought at BB&B. This unit is now rated, by me, as a P-O-S!

It worked flawlessly until this weekend (60 days), and now it is "kaput". There is a 3/16" square metal rod coming up from the grinder at the bottom, through the "corns", mating with a (formerly) square hole in the top black plastic section. This square hole is now round, resulting in no pepper ground, when I turn the top black section.

Now I have to find the damn receipt to take it back to BB&B. :headpop:
