Hey everyone!

Just recently joined the forum, thought I'd share my wine & food gifts.

Wine

2007 Brazin Old Vine Zinfandel - Lodi
The person who gave this to me said it received great reviews from the Wall Street Journal wine review (which unfortunately is changing editors). He's tried it multiple times and loved it. I'll let you know.

2007 Turley Frederick's Vineyard Zinfandel - Sonoma Valley
Love Turley, looking forward to this.

2007 Del Dotto St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley
Another reliably awesome wine.

2007 Venteux Petite Syrah - Paso Robles
Had never heard of this, though it also comes recommended from the Wall Street Journal review. We'll see...

2003 Montevetrano IGT - Southern Italy
My family brought this back from Italy. They loved it there, apparently tough to find. May save this one for a while.

Cookbooks

Crescent City Farmer's Market Cookbook
I go to this every Saturday! Pumped they have a cookbook now. Look forward to these recipes.

Best of the Best: Recipes from the 25 best cookbooks of the year
From the editors of Food & Wine. Pretty good idea that I haven't really seen before: a "best of" album for cookbooks. Some examples are Bobby Flay's Grill It!, Mario Batali's Italian Grill, and Giada de Laurentis Giada's Kitchen.

Coffee

Sweet Maria's imported chicory
Imported from India, is suppose to be a way to make your own coffee-chicory blends at home. I've grown to love the Cafe du Monde mix; this should be fun.

Hope y'all are having a great holidays!
