I hate candy corn! And I also hate those generic chewy candies in the orange or black wrapper. Everyone throws those away don't they?

Love anything Hersheys!

No one mentioned GOOD & PLENTY, pro or con.

I don't like them cause licorace reminds me of the "rubber mouth appliance" and "gas" used together by dentists on kids in the chair in the 1950's!

I just realized that I haven't seen Reed's Candies on shelves lately. They came in rolls and were shaped like Life Savers sans the hole in the middle. My favorites were Root Beer, Butterscotch and Cinnamon. After a quick Google I see that the company went out of business. Another fave is Reese Cups. I buy them for ME, not the trick or treaters! ;) One of my FaceBook friends said, "I'll give up my Resse Cups when they pry my cold, dead fingers from the bag!"

Best: Peanut butter fudge, popcorn balls & caramel apples. This is what my mama made.

Worst: Circus Peanuts. Believe it or not, a friend's brother loves these & fills his robe pocket with them to nibble on while hanging out at his house. The thought truly grosses me out.

Best commercially made: M & M's, Sugar Daddy's (you are supposed to lick them Christine!), Sweetarts & Reece's Peanut Butter Cups. Oh, and Junior Mints.

Best: I love Snickers, peanut butter cups, and any chocolate/nut combo (almond M & M's are great), Sugar Daddy's, Mike and Ike's, and the original Hershey Almond candy bar. Also, call me crazy, but I like candy corn.

Worst: Circus peanuts, taffy in orange and black wrappers, and marshmellow anything. I think these companies stay in business so people can buy something cheap so they will have something to give out.

Best: Mary Jane's and that other crunchy, striped flat peanut butter candy.

Haven't had them in 20+ yrs, but loved 'em!

I forgot Bit-O-Honey's. But the last batch I devoured resulted in a nice dentist bill. As in crown replacement. Mrs. Fury has to hide them behind the frozen broccoli from Mr. Fury.

Here's what I'm giving out this year:

Miniature Snickers, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers and Butterfinger Crisp. Also Miniature Play-Doh and mini-bags of Goldfish crackers.

I don't buy anything I don't want to be stuck with if I don't give it all away (well, except for the Play-Doh, and I'm sure I can unload that).
