Have you all tried this yet? The best salsa! It's fresh and made right here in New Orleans.
It is on the shelf at Canseco's Market on Metairie Rd and you can also find them at the Harrison Avenue Marketplace.
It comes in mild and spicy. I got Bam some spicy to try and he thought it was great too.
Anyway, it's fresh and it's local. If you are out looking for salsa, give them a try.

I love this stuff. Just tomatoes, onions, cilantro and I think habanero. Very fresh, and delicious.
Re: Pico de Bayou
Next time at Canseco's (either location, Metairie Rd. or Esplanade) try their Cuban sandwiches if y'all haven't already done so.

Jeeves, I don't actually go to the store to buy it, I have it delivered to me at work. I'm a good customer

I'm going to have to check this out. Ms. Turbodog has been thinking about doing this as a business and she makes the best pic/salsa I have ever had.

Re: Pico de Bayou
I have tried it and it's really good.
A couple of weeks ago my husband met the lady that makes it.
He was at Langenstein's doing a demo of the BBQ sauce that we make and bottle and she was there doing a demo of her salsa.
She was really helpful in providing us with some really great information about packaging/bottling our own product.

As I'm sure you know from your Pick Stand business, having the best product is only half of your problems. Establishing a distribution and sales network is the other half. Good luck with with the pic/salsa.
