Good one, Barbara (but so true!).
You and David will enjoy the big bottles.
Let us know.
The abbey is thrilled with the "benefits" the abbey ale is providing. Abita has, for some time, donated beer to the abbey. We love them.
Sorry for the off topic direction here TD, but I have to ask a business question of sorts.
I have a distant friend that belongs to a group of guys that tailgate out at LSU every year in a purple school bus that they tricked out for that purpose. Decent group of guys and their bus is parked in a high traffic area.
For several years they knew a sales rep of some sort that always got them a keg or two of Abita and the bus would in turn have some Abita magents on it as well as Abita links, etc on their website. As of this year they were told that the deal was over with. Is this just a change in corporate direction?
Not to hijack (Admin will move this or I will post this in the Sports Sub-sub section) but check out these tailgating buses.
The Cleveland Browns' one is especially impressive. It's like on long bar room on wheels. (Click on the different teams, then scroll down within that thread. They have pictures on a MS pic format)
BTG, I had heard that wew were not providing beer to any o fthe taigates any more. I think we were "sponsoring" several krewes and others were asking for the same treatment. As to not offend anyone, we may have offended everyone.
I'll look into it, but as I said, I think we quit doing it across the board.
