Wyndham, Canal Place Bar...11th floor. I went for my first time on Thursday, my second on Friday.

Check it out. Go for happy hour, go for digestifs.

I worked very near there, and had many opportunities to have cocktails there when they first opened. I had an invite on their 5th anniversary celebration, which was great. Irma Thomas gave a concert, and there were food stations set up throughout the hotel in various special rooms. I can remember the view from the "Ronald Reagan Presidential Suite." Same line of sight as the bar, just higher. Shortly after they reopened from the storm, my niece had her wedding reception there. It was fabulous. Actually, the venue, not the food in particular, which is typical upscale hotel fare.

Great place for a view of the Old Man below! And Algiers Point!
