Grand Terre
Where is Grand Terre? What I'm looking at says it's in Jefferson Parish...I've never heard of Grand Terre...where is it? East bank or west bank? How far from the city?

It is the barrier island east of Grand Isle. You have to drive through Lafourche Parish, then to Grand Isle, which is in Jefferson Parish, then go by boat to Grand Terre. There is a dilapidated old fort on the west side of the island.
