Anyone been to Irene's lately?

Post by justagirl »

This hot guy I've been dating wants to have dinner in the quarter tomorrow night so I suggested Irene's. I haven't been in ages (I'm guessing 2 years at least). I've always enjoyed Irene's and I can't imagine this time will be any different.

So who's been lately and what did you have that you enjoyed?

The last time I ate there, we were a group of 6 on the Friday night of FQ Fest. The food was good, but merely that.....just good. Nothing memorable. I find myself preferring Tommy's over Irene's these days.

I always thought Irene's was good, but not spectacular. That said, Ms. Turbodog love it.

For my money, I would rather eat at GW Fins, K Paul's, Muriel's, Palace Cafe, Bayona, or several other FQ restaurants. If you also consider the Warehouse District and downtwon, the list grows (Emeril's, Tommy's, Rio Mar, La Boca, Cuvee, Delmonico, etc.).

Just sayin'.........
