Are JAG and Bam having the best non-football Saturday ever?
Re: Are JAG and Bam having the best non-football Saturday ever?
I think I had Bam's room this weekend next to Harrah's. Found a free admission card to LipStixx in my drawer and a free drink offer from Penthouse.

Bought the duck at Rouse's. I wasn't sure what was going to be with the duck so I did it very simple, just roasted it with kosher salt and cracked black pepper. Did the first 45 minutes at 425, breast up. Flipped and lowered the heat to 350 for another 45, flipped for another 45 (this is when Bam showed up and I needed about 45 minutes to do something else so it was perfect timing).
“I'm sure when Peyton Manning was growing up he always wanted to throw the TD pass that gave the Saints a Super Bowl win," Jorge Arangure wrote. "Now he has."

When she says breast up, she isn't talking about the duck.

It's always in the frozen middle isle case thingies. They always have some at the one on Tchoup/Napoleon that I go to. Near the turkeys and other birds. They are usually around $3/pound so a duck is typically $20. Make sure you get it a day or two ahead of time though, they are all frozen.

Went to my Rouses's today. The butcher said they only carry it during the holidays. They had some already cooked breasts in a box in the frozen section...yuck. They said they will order it for me, as they get lots of requests.

Lots of stores carry them. Even the dreaded Wal Mart.justagirl wrote:It's always in the frozen middle isle case thingies. They always have some at the one on Tchoup/Napoleon that I go to. I usually get them at Casey Jones.
But I've never paid more than $13 for one.
That's a big difference!

Isa, are they only frozen at Casey Jones too?
Hong Kong has plenty of duck every time I go in there but I haven't had a need to get over to the westbank lately.
