JAG cooked me a fantastic dinner. Roast duck with white beans, shrimp and portabello mushrooms. I supplied the wine, 2005 Les Callioux CDP.

And the best non-euphemistic dessert, Cupcakes from the Cupcake Factory on Claiborne. Red Velvet recommended by the young lady at the counter. I plated them along with fresh Poplarville blueberries and peaches from the Hollygrove market. A perfect dinner.....and possibly a perfect evening...Let you know about that later.

I thoroughly enjoyed the amuse bouche.

It's far too early for you to already have had dinner...and to tell us about it! Are you two getting to be old foggies???????????????

Re: Are JAG and Bam having the best non-football Saturday ever?
Actually I had a really busy day and dinner ended up being ready around 5 or so...so we ate.
I made a crispy duck, it was really good. Plated that with roasted portabella mushroom caps with a white bean creation and gulf shrimp. Salad I made with cukes and tomatoes from the Hollygrove market and fresh French bread.
It was yummy. And the cupcakes were good too.

Can you tell us how you made the duck, and where did you buy it from? I love crispy duck.

I'm still trying to figure out which of the "menu items" are euphemisms and which are double entendre.

Just assume whatever isn't a euphemism is a double entendre or a play on words. By crispy duck, JAG really means a tipsy f***.

Bam, I stopped in real quick at the new Ricks Sports Saloon last night just to have a look see. I think I can see myself watching a football game in there this fall.

I heard the food sucks and they don't open until 4. I am not sure how that is going to fly during football season.
