When Tucker's was by the Medical Center (LSU, Roman St by Perdido) a bunch of people from work would have them at lunch, but I just couldn't subject myself to it. People seemed to like them though. I would never order one.

It sounds absolutely hideous to me.... I can think of much better ways to suck up calories.... like a traditional BACON CHEESEBURGER! I don't get the attraction, but nevermind. ;)

I'm sure there is a market for fat rendered in fat. are you asking as a consideration to an addition to your menu?

I actually made one earlier in the week just to see what would happen. The result was amazing, i actually had customers that saw it and asked for it. It isn't on the menu right now but we are making them on request. The original customers that tried it the first time keep comming back to get them.

did you stuff it w/anything? or, was it just beef, pork, lamb, or turkey?

The first one i made was stuffed with cheddar bacon mushrooms and supprisingly letteuce and tomato. It was amazing!!!!

alert me when you do lamb stuffed w/mint, cilantro, golden raisins, red onions, cardamom, cumin, and topped w/a chutney and feta.
