Is Saigon Grill on east Causeway approach in Mandeville closed or what? I've never been, but I seem to remember reading about it somewhere....

Hungryone, I didn't even know about this place. Thanks, I'll definitely check it out. The only one I knew of is some closed place, Pho 25 or something, which according to Google is right down the road.

Northshore Empress (behind Copelands) has chinese and vietnames food. Have had only chinese there, whihc is very good. DC had a bowl of pho once and declared it good. This is a fmily run place and they formerly had a place in Metairie or Kenner (Jade Moon, perhps). They sold business on southshore and have a non compete over there, so moved over here. Nice place, friendly people, with care towards food.

Saigon Grill in Mandeville is a nice little place. We've not been for a few months, but we've liked everything we've had there. Very nice people.
