Restaurant reporting

Post by Yvette »

Okay, so I must be a little bored tonight with all my postings.

After meeting Jonathan at the Matt Murphy thing Sunday night, I got to thinking...he eats out as much as we do, we should really get back to reporting where we ate. I enjoyed that about this board, plus it might remind us to revisit a restaurant we put on the back burner.

Going to Andrea's tomorrow night...not my choice, its with a wine group. Will report good and bad sometime Thursday evening. Hope to be in court all day to hang the sucker that robbed my house, this is to be his third strike. We'll see, its almost 4 years later.

Going to a wedding Saturday night, so no restaurant report there.

Yvette,

I completely agree. We must be get back to writing about where we ate. My biggest problem is I am running my law practice off my iPhone. When I sit down at the computer, I have such limited time, that writing a restaurant review is not a priority.

I am going to Martinique tomorrow. I'll report on everything but dessert.

You're right Yvette, we do need to get back to reporting.
Same as Bam, iPhone basically does it all. Less time for reporting.

I did go to a new place tonight & will report.

Good Luck on the trial. You'll be in my thoughts.
I remember when all of that happened, hard to believe 4 yrs have passed.

WT . . . . it's almost 2010!!!

their mint ice cream is homemade w/fresh mint from their garden. great this time of year after dinner, especially if eating in the courtyard.
I always start a meal there w/ their crab salad...perfection.
enjoy!
After Mon & Tues, even the calendar says W-T-F!

I agree the we need to do better Yvette, especially since Tom was tooting his horn last week about how much better his message board is than all of the others in the area.

I don't eat out near as much as I used to, but I will try to do more updates when I do.

I'll report on dessert....

Yeah, I've been pretty lazy about posting restaurant experiences too. Here's a partial list of where I've been in the last few weeks:

Rambla
Fausto's
Seither's
Mimi's
Frenier Landing
Zea's
Ciro's Cote Sud
Napoleon House
NorJoe's (Muff)
Kim Anh's Noodle House
Pho Bang
Cathay Inn
Red Wagon Grocery
Village Inn
Popeye's (yep, and loved it.)
Come Back Inn (Williams and W. Metairie)

On my list for the near future is:
Bon Ton
Pelican Club
Muriel's
Green Goddess
Chops Bistro
Le Parvenu
Iron Pot
