Roast Beef Po-boy
I'm full, tired and on my way to getting drunk but I need to tell yall about my po-boy at lunch today. I normally don't even like roast beef po-boys but today's was AMAZING. I went to the Cajun Bar and Grill on Causeway by the service road. Lynn is the proprieter and is very nice. She'll make what ever you want for lunch, assuming she's got it in the kitchen. I didn't order the po-boy (I just ordered a 'whatever he orders, I'll have the same) but I'm so glad I got it because it was out of this world. It came with cajun potatoes...red new potatoes boiled in crab boil then quartered and deep fried. OMG good. The gravy on the po-boy was amazing, the meat tender and wonderful. Freakin' fantastic.

Sounds good! We went to Koz's for dinner...close to the house and quick..lol. Doug and I both had fried hap po-boys and Caleb had the roast beef. Our sandwiches were just okay...but the onion rings were great. Sigh..it's good to be back home. Weird...this is home now.

You can use cards...Lynn prefers cash or cards not use for less than $15 I think...but if you're nice to her she's nice to you too
The potatoes did kick ass...but the gravy and beef were OMG good. And seriously, I don't usually like roast beef poboys.

I boil new potatoes in seafood boil and let them sit and soak, then add blue cheese and red onions and a bit of olive oil and balsamic.Mrs. Fury wrote:

If this is the little place in the strip mall with the Brazilian place and the women's bar, I've eaten there a number of times and she does make good sandwiches and the potatoes are good. I agree with you.
