Herbsaint Lunch

Post by bam bam »

After spending the morning in traffic court in Kenner (yes. It was as glamorous as it sounds.) I decided to indulge in a lunch at Herbsaint. I am running short on time, so I'll skip the references to my depraved existence and inform you that I had the baby lettuces salad with bacon and bleu cheese which was phenomenal. The salmon sandwich with housemade chips. The salmon was a tad overcooked but the overall composition of the dish was excellent. I decided to have dessert, mainly because I had dessert for dinner last night but I had the fried strawberry pie with creole cream cheese ice cream. Possibly the best non euphemistic dessert I have ever had. Washed it down with two Saxo Belgian Blonde Ales. Came to 50 bucks but was a great meal. Highly recommended.

Now all I can think about is your dessert. I have to have it!

I had lunch there today. I had dessert. But not the strawberry pie. Something else was on the menu.

Did you share it with anyone?

Jealousy is fortunately an emotion I'm not familiar with, but I do want some dessert.
