Jazzfest food discussion time
I am still somewhat new to the jazzfest deal, so please enlighten me to some of the must haves related to food. I know about the crawfish monica and the softshell crab.
Also, if I were to sneak in a water bottle with rum or vodka in it, what do they have good out there to mix it with?

Rum with strawberry lemonade is the bomb.
As for food, I like a lot of what is on edible's list (Prejean's stuff is awesome, and I also like Palmers stuff. I must add the fried gator poboy with fried jalapenos and onions from Guil's (Food 1), Couchon De Lait Poboy (Food 1), BBQ Chicken Sandwich (Lill's, Food 1) and creole stuffed bread (Mrs. Herbert, Food 2). I'm sure I forgot a bunch of good stuff, like crawfish beingeits.

Tip on how to sneak in alcohol:
Get some large ziplock freezer bags and fill it with your liquor of choosing.
Tape the bag to the underside of the seat part of the fold up type chairs.
Put the chair in the it's bag with the zip lock bag facing down.
Done successfully for years.

When I feel like drinking, I bring in vodka and pour it into the Herbal Iced Teas. Refreshing

“I'm sure when Peyton Manning was growing up he always wanted to throw the TD pass that gave the Saints a Super Bowl win," Jorge Arangure wrote. "Now he has."

That sounds good. I just grabbed a bottle of Tito vodka at the store this evening so that will be my drink of choice this weekend.justagirl wrote:When I feel like drinking, I bring in vodka and pour it into the Herbal Iced Teas. Refreshing
