Actually, it was called Zazou (early-mid 1990's) and was operated by Mike and Gail Pair. It was later called Cartier's (the Cartier's had owned the building and leased to the Pair's). After the Pair's, the Cartier's son Danny was running Cartier's.

After Cartier's closed, the property was sold toDr. Charles Roy, a dentist. He had bought it to conver to a spectacular residence. then it was badly damaged by Katrina and eventually sold to Nick Powers, the owner of Barley Oak Draft House. Nick has built a beautiful facility (contructed by Work Contruction Company (Ed Kimball).

Going back in history, the building for many years housed a pharmacy. A real pharmacy, with a soda fountain and all (I know I am aging myself, but I do remember going there as a kid in the 60's).

I don't remember all of the history, but I remember it was Confetti's for a short time and then right after it went out of business Dr. Roy bought it to turn into his dream party home, Katrina hit. (A friend of mine used to work with Dr. Roy.....met him many times....small world Turbo)

This place looks terrific, and walkable distance too! Do they have any Danish beer - specifically Tuborg? I couldn't find it on the list.
